The time has come! Yard Athletics is pleased to officially go live with “Yard Work 2019” at UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium, Saturday July 20th.

We are thrilled to once again partner with lululemon on this amazing day, with all proceeds going towards KidSport BC.

Below are all the details you’ll need, including a link to purchase tickets for your team on EventBrite. Sign up as soon as possible as teams completely sold out at Yard Work 1.0!

This year, Two Different Divisions (Competitive and Social) with 192 participants.

The Social Division leads off:

Registration opening at 9:00AM

Events begin 10:30

End 12:15

Followed up by the Competitive Division:

Registration opening at 11:15AM

Events begin 12:45

End 3:00

YARD WORK 2018

The 1st Annual!

Yard Athletics and lululemon invite you to come on out and get your hands dirty with some good old fashioned manual labour! Summer may be officially over, but that’s not stopping us from putting together a unique outdoor event that will be a great workout, in addition to being for a great cause. If you can, envision Sports Day mixed with the NFL Combine, tailored for the modern day Weekend Warrior. Tire flipping, sled pushing, medicine ball heaving, agility weaving, speed dashing and team relays, all in the spirit of sport.

You are responsible for compiling a team of 4 individuals. Entry fee is $40/participant, with all proceeds going towards Kidsport Canada (http://www.kidsportcanada.ca/about-us/) a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under.

You can expect a fun-filled day full of swag bags, raffle prizes, team awards, banging beats courtesy of DJ Henry Gould, a belly full of laughs, hands full of calluses and grins from ear to ear.

“YARD WORK 2018” will take place on September 29, 2018 at Prospect Point Park

Registration – 12:00-12:30

Orientation – 12:30-1:00

Yard Work Events – 1:00-3:00

Cost: $40/participant, payable at time of registration

*receipt upon purchase for tax purposes
